Today exactly 9 years arfter purchasing comforser tyre brand. One of the tyre got bloated that is why we are feeling a woobble while driving. Our starex after more than 10 yrs of service is now asking for new tyres.
The comforser tyres work well. It helps us bring our kids in Philippines Science High School Argao branch every monday early morning and pick up her every friday afternoon. We live in Minglanilla so the service of the vehicle is huge. Actually it has 200k odometer right now. Plus we visit Pinamungajan most of the time.
Well this post is the review of the Comforser brand of tyre. As mentioned the other wheels got damaged but it is not because of the wheels. IT is human error. Somewhere in Tungkil Minglanilla, i ask a vulcanizing shop to put air on one of the tyre. That happen before Nov 1. After 4 days my wife noticed something when driving as we shaking something. So i check the tyre and it was confirm that the COmfoser tyre has bloat. It happen because the stupid staff of the vulcanizing shop loaded an air pressure more than 65 psi. Yes all the tyres are under 45 psi except the other one in trouble.
Now i have to find 1 tyre and i wanted to buy Comforser brand. Hope i could find the affordable price. Kudos to Comforser and Good Ride they did good service on my Starex that almost 10 yrs now.

Before Christmas we look for best dealer of branded tires for our starex van as the visitor from Manila is going to arrive from the Ninoy

Since it is almost holiday, most of the tire dealer in Cebu are already close and we only found two dealers one is the Michelin dealer in Osmena street located at the back of the Sto Nino Church. Their price is 5600 for each tires.
The other one located along Salinas drive between SM cebu and It park. The lady offered Hankok tire from South Korea with 4 years warranty at P4000 for each tire.
The tri J, a known car maintenance shop and tire dealer offered Bridge tone at 6200 each so i just walk away.
One of the Good Year located along Mandaue Highway near San Miguel offered P5200 for each tire.
The most affordable branded tire with 5 years warranty is Yokohama along Mandaue just after the brige is worth P4600 for each tire. They have courteous staff and hard working workers. Call them for prices a 231 3109, 231 6680 and 2319690
I opted to buy MAXXIS tires from China because i am in the tight budget. I only used second hand starex van so you can anticipate the budget for the tires. Anyway we do not drive past and we keep to be defensive driver.
Updated Nov 5. Never buy a maxxi tires. It is the first tires of mine that give up.
Now the after 10 months since i purchased the MAXXIS tires so far so good. I have not experienced any plat tire or issue with this tires. For me the performance is ok. I only buy 2 maxxis tires so this october 15 to be exact i need another tires and the dealer of MAXXIS tires is now charging at higher price so we are now in search of new affordable tires.
We are looking for the COMFORSER brand which is China made tires again. They said the prices is around 2600 plus so we will try the 2 tires for now.
Last saturday we purchased comforser and now using it. We just sent my kid since she studied at Argao paraticularly the philippines science high school. Now my wife goes to Pinamungajan as my son study at elementary school there.
Two long travel in less than week and everything is fine.
