This view is very historical because on the other side of the river is the Escolta street. The street is considered as the Makati during the time of Jose Rizal and Andres Bonifacio. Living here are rich Filipino chinese.
This is the busiest street during 1890s where people still can sell in the pasig river. But now the street grow slowly. This is because the businessmen could not easily remove the 100 years old building to replace with new one.
