One should be at least 16 years old to qualify for the CNA training program in the state of Indiana. A high school diploma is necessary to some schools, but not required in others. However, average communication skills (reading, writing and speaking in English) are necessary. Other important requirements also include:

Most CNA schools in Maryland admit students who are 18 years of age. But you can find some schools that accept 16-year-old students to enroll in CNA courses.
