It is a 60-meter-high waterfall whose reservoir is springs behind its rock wall rather than any river or stream above it. We took a habal-habal from Alamada’s town proper and traveled for nearly an hour to Brgy. Upper Dado is the starting point for Asik-Asik Falls. We arrived at the jump-off area after eight o’clock in the morning.
Before beginning our journey to the Asik Asik falls, we registered and paid all of the necessary fees. The trail down to the falls was well-marked, and some of the more difficult sections were already equipped with metal stairs.
