Air 2 wins against Talk ‘N Text
Yesterday, in the Araneta Coliseum, Air 21 outsmarted Talk ‘N Text with a score of 121-102. In the first and second quarter, they had a lower score than Talk ‘N Text with 29-31 in the first quarter and 57-63 in the second.
Wyne Arboleda scored 22 points and Nio Cañaleta scored 11 that boosted the Express to commanding leads in the breakaway third quarter, resulting a score of 95-79. JJ Sullinger led the Phone Pals campaign with 22, 11 of them came in the first quarter but he was shut down in the crucial third quarter.
“It’s crucial that we were able to shut down Sullinger,” Air 21 coach, Bo Perasol, said. “That told a lot on the result of the game because everything in Talk ‘N Text revolves around Sullinger.”
